About the Developer
Sittiphol is a student in the Master of Engineering program in Computers at Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand. He has been a Symbian developer since 2002. Sittiphol had twice before attempted to develop this application but was only successful when he made his third attempt using Open C.
About the Application - MobiTubia
The application is a Flash Video Player and YouTube Portal Application with real-time decoding for the S60 platform. The mobile user can access flv clips using several different methods. Additionally, the application allows users to browse and search for specific content on YouTube.

Pu Zhihua with Live Traffic
About the Developer
Pu has seven years of development experience. He’s developed on Symbian C++ on the S60 platform and also for the desktop using J2SE and J2EE. Mr. Pu is considered the most productive Symbian developer in China. He is a Symbian C++ Certified Trainer in China for Nokia S60. Pu is employed at the Chinese technology firm Platomix in Shanghai where he works closely with the firm’s owner and one of his co-developers, Bao Jiming.
About the Application - Live Traffic
Live Traffic provides real-time traffic volumes. The application adopts FCD (Floating Car Data) technology to acquire road traffic information anywhere, anytime, and publishes mapped traffic information to Nokia phone users via GPRS or EDGE connections.

TongRen with MobiClass
About the Developer
TongRen is a researcher in the E-Learning lab at Shanghai Jiatong University in Shanghai, China. He has been a Symbian developer since 2004. He is a graduate of one of China’s top 5 universities. Using Open C he developed his application in 2 months instead of the 4 to 6 months it normally would have taken.
About the Application - MobiClass
MobiClass is a virtual multi-media courseware application designed to deliver an integrated learning experience with active notes and video playback. Courseware is downloaded to the device memory card for playback.

- Created by a three-member development team;
- Took 8 weeks to create the application.

About the Developer
Steve is the CEO of SDC Labs in Carlsbad, California. He has over 20 years of application development experience and has been a Symbian developer since 2003. According to Steve, "the Symbian GUI layer, POSIX-based middleware, along with Nokia’s leading smartphones makes developing for Nokia best-in-class."
About the Application - ViewRight
ViewRight is a streaming mobile video application that allows users to watch television from their mobile devices. The application includes mobile video wireless download UI, proxy streaming, client and crypto middleware for Symbian 3G DVB-H H.264 platforms.

- Created for their client Verimatrix, a market leading CA/DRM supplier;
- Took 12 weeks to create the application.
