Eric Bustarret has over 14 years’ experience writing solid C/C++ software that ranges from complex air-traffic-control systems to small mobile-phone games. Doing some Symbian OS development since the creation of Symbian Ltd., Eric has deep experience with GSM/General Packet Radio Service (GPRS)/3G telephony and has been involved in the hardware and software architecture of several phones for a France-based mobile device manufacturer. He is currently the owner and director of NewLC SARL, a consulting company that focuses on the Symbian OS platform, and editor of the NewLC.com developer portal. Successful company projects include a couple of multimedia players, a video ring-tone player, an instant messaging (IM) client, and a phone-to-desktop synchronization solution.
