Tool Details
Carbide.c++ v1.3, the development tool for C++ for Symbian OS and Open C developers

Carbide.c++ is a powerful family of mobile development tools built on the Eclipse framework. Family members include:
- Carbide.c++ OEM Edition for device creation users
- Carbide.c++ Professional Edition for developers working with pre-production devices
- Carbide.c++ Developer Edition for application development on production phones
- Carbide.c++ Express, available as a no-cost download to introduce developers to mobile experience
All four products are included in the installer. The user will select their specific Carbide product at installation.
The commercial products install with a temporary license and the user may purchase a permanent license at the Forum Nokia e-Store (https://pro.forum.nokia.com/estore.do)
After the temporary license expires and if a (commercial) permanent license is not installed, the Carbide.c++ IDE will revert to the Express functionality.
All Carbide.c++ products are approved for commercial use, including the Carbide.c++ Express product. Please consult the End User License Agreement (EULA) when you install the Carbide product for details.
