Nokia PC Suite Connectivity API 3.2
This archive contains PC Suite Connectivity API 3.2 material including: API Reference Manual, Library and API Header files, and Example applications in object and source code format. The Nokia PC Suite Connectivity API (PCCAPI) is a successor of the existing Nokia PC Connectivity SDKs.The Nokia PC Connectivity API (PCCAPI) enables application developers to add PC connectivity capabilities to applications for Series 40 phones; devices based on S60 2nd Edition and S60 3rd Edition; and Series 80 devices (the Nokia 9300 Communicator and Nokia 9500 Communicator), where they are supported by the Nokia PC Suite. For a complete list of supported Nokia devices, see www.nokia.com/pcsuite/.
The Nokia PCCAPI is an integrated part of the Nokia PC Suite and takes advantage of the suiteās existing capabilities. It has been designed to free application developers from the complexities of dealing directly with the connectivity and transmission protocols used by the Nokia PC Suite and the architecture of connected devices in their applications.
Developers creating PC applications utilizing the Nokia PCCAPI will also need the Nokia PC Connectivity Solution and Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver. After signing a distribution license agreement with Nokia, developers can use the Nokia PC Suite Connectivity Solution and Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver to create complete distributable packages that eliminate the need to download and install the Nokia PC Suite software as a separate product.
For more information see the Nokia PC Suite Connectivity API 3.2 datasheet.
