The example is useful to C++ developers who wish to port code written for S60 2nd Edition to S60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 3 and S60 3rd Edition. In v2.1, backup and restore support has been added and compatibility has been ensured for all S60 3rd Edition releases. Documentation is included in the package.
