Series 60 Platform SDK for Symbian OS, C++ Plug-ins are software packages for developers creating C++ applications for devices based on the Series 60 Platform.The plug-ins extend the features of a Series 60 Platform version, adding functionality that is not included in shipped devices or is specific to a certain device.

SIP Plug-in solution for developers consist of SIP-Plug-in for Series 60 Platform SDKs enabling testing and debugging of SIP compliant C++ applications, without a device. SIP Server emulator allows for testing and debugging applications without access to a live SIP server. SIP Stacks are provided to devices which do not natively support SIP technology.

SIP Extension Support
The plug-ins provide SIP features to a Series 60 emulator, enabling testing and debugging of SIP compliant C++ applications, without a device.

SIP Server Support
The plug-ins include a server emulator that provides the functionality of an Internet Engineering Task Force (IETF) SIP Proxy and Registrar Server. This allows for testing and debugging applications without access to a live SIP server.

Emulator Connectivity Support
The plug-ins enable communications between Series 60 emulators and a SIP Server Emulator either on a single PC or on multiple PCs over a TCP/IP connection. This enables testing of real-world SIP interactions without access to devices, a live network, or SIP server.

SDK Support
SIP SDK plug-in 1.0 is compatible with Series 60 2nd Edition SDK.
SIP SDK plug-in 2.0 is compatible with Series 60 2nd Ed Feature Pack 1 SDKs.
SIP SDK plug-in 4.0 is compatible with Series 60 2nd Ed Feature Pack 2 SDKs and with Series 60 2nd Ed Feature Pack 3 SDK.

Updated SIP Stack
SIP SDK plug-in 4.0 contains an updated SIP Stack. The updated SIP Stack is to be used with Nokia 6680 devices.
