The example is useful to C++ developers who wish to port code written for S60 2nd Edition to S60 2nd Edition, Feature Pack 3 and S60 3rd Edition. In v2.1, backup and restore support has been added and compatibility has been ensured for all S60 3rd Edition releases. Documentation is included in the package. Main classes: AknLayoutUtils, especially AknLayoutUtils::LayoutMetricsRect() (=UI Metrics API).
