Borland JBuilder 9 Developer, Enterprise or Mobile Edition
Borland JBuilder 9 Mobile Edition makes J2ME™, J2EE™/EJB, Web, XML, and database application development easier with two-way visual designers and rapid deployment to leading J2EE platform applications servers. JBuilder 9 Developer, Enterprise, and Mobile Edition now support mobile devices right out of the box, without the need to install the optional MobileSet package.Use either the bundled default Mobile Information Device Profile (MIDP) 1.0 emulator from the Sun Wireless Toolkit (WTK) or switch to and between any Nokia SDK or Concept SDK emulator from within the IDE. The MIDP project wizard helps to set up MIDlets or MIDlet suites, while the Archive builder automatically creates the Java Application Descriptor (JAD), Java Archive (JAR), manifest, and files. Use the MIDP 1.0 specific UI designer to build the user interface with drag-and-drop. The integrated obfuscator (RetroGuard v1.1) could be called as part of the building process; it prevents decompilation and reverse engineering of applications, and improves the performance and reduces the size of applications due to shorter byte binary files for the MIDlets.
Find errors using the graphical debugger while the MIDlet runs on the device simulator. Smart Code templates and macros help to automate and speed common coding tasks. Add your own or third-party features using the Open Tools API. Code completion and package completion help to speed coding and reduce syntax errors. ErrorInsight adds a new empty method using the method wizard according to a compilation error.
