I have tested it only in emulator yet, but the example application also crashes there. I have version S60 3rd MR.

You need to have installed Open C libraries on the development environment and device. From 3rd Edition, FP2 onwards Open C is preinstalled. On which device did you test the application? Did you test...

I cannot get file from ftp. After succesful connection ftp server notifies "The connection was closed by the remote socket." and no file transfer happens. Please, tell me, what's wrong in my code....
