Guide to Flash Lite Developer's Library

The Flash Lite Developer's Library is an introductory package for beginner Flash Lite application developers. The library includes an overview of Flash Lite tools and technology as well as extensively documented example use cases. All Flash Lite versions from 1.1 onwards are supported.

Intended audience

This library is intended for experienced desktop Flash developers who are new to mobile development and mobile application developers familiarizing themselves with the Flash Lite environment.

Navigating the library

Flash Lite Developer's Library has a dynamic Table of Contents on the left side of the screen and the actual content is displayed on the right side of the screen. A blue arrow icon next to the table of contents shows you your location in the library structure. On top of the Table of Contents are the Sync URL, Sync TOC and Hide/Show TOC buttons, which have the following functions:

  • Sync URL

The Sync URL button updates the URL of the page you have navigated to. This allows you to create links and bookmark individual pages. Note that the URL is not synchronized automatically so you have to remember to always click the Sync URL button before creating links and bookmarks.

  • Sync TOC

The TOC Sync button visible at the top of the table of contents allows you to update the table of contents to show you your current location.

  • Show/Hide TOC

Switches between showing and hiding the Table of Contents in the left side of the screen.

The Forum Nokia and Nokia logos on the page work as links to the Forum Nokia Web page and to the Nokia Web page respectively.
