Installing a sis file

This example demonstrates how to install a sis file using Nokia PC Suite and a USB cable to connect to your mobile device.

Before you start, you need the following:

• mobile device based on the platform version that matches your development SDK

• installed version of Nokia PC Suite that is compatible with your mobile device

• compatible USB cable

To install a sis file with a compatible USB cable and Nokia PC Suite:

1. Connect your USB cable to your PC.

2. Connect your phone to the USB cable.

   Check your phone user guide for additional information on creating a connection between your phone and your computer.

3. Open Nokia PC Suite and select Install applications.

   For more information, check the Nokia PC Suite documentation.

4. Select the helloworldbasic_gcce.sis file from the sis folder of the example and the target location on the phone, and click the transfer button.

5. Complete the installation of the example on your phone by following the dialogs.
