You can participate in the contest by sending your solution to S60competition@nokia.com. Each contestant is entitled to submit
only one entry.
The promoter of this contest is:
Nokia Corporation
Keilalahdentie 2 – 4
02150 Espoo
Finland
2. Personal details
To enter the contest you need to provide:
Attach the solution in a zip file (remember to attach all the needed files, including source files as well) and possibly instructions for testing.
The personal data you submit via the entry form will be assembled into a database that is used for evaluating the applications and managing the contest. This data will not be used for any purposes other than for the purposes of this contest and as otherwise stated below.
However, we reserve the right to display your name when showing content you have submitted to the contest, unless you separately tell us otherwise.
3. Rights to entries
All transferable rights to the entries, including images and other content you submit to the contest, shall be vested in the
promoter. The promoter may in particular use the entries in connection with this contest and in its development work, and
make them available to the public. Entries, even if designated as confidential by you, shall not create any confidentiality
obligation for or upon promoter. You may not submit entries that are subject to license terms that seek to require any Nokia
product, technology, service or documentation incorporating or derived from such entry, or any Nokia intellectual property,
to be licensed or otherwise shared with any third party. No compensation will be paid with respect to the use of entries.
For this purpose, by participating you warrant that you have all rights to the entry
4. Age limit
You must be at least 16 years of age to participate. If you are under 18 or under the statutory age limit in your country,
you must have the permission of a parent or guardian.
5. Prizes
The winner of this contest shall be awarded with a brand new Nokia S60 phone of his/her choice. Additionally, the profile
of the winner will be published in the competition web page and he/she will be a recognized member of the S60 developer community.
The promoter may, at its sole discretion, publish the profile of several participants whose entries have been recognized as
excellent.
None of the prizes will be substituted for cash or for any other prize, except that if the Nokia phone selected by the winner is not available in the country of residence of the winner, it will be replaced by another available Nokia phone. If the contestant is not entitled to receive the prize, the prize will be given to the guardian or to another contestant at the discretion of the promoter.
6. Timetable, evaluation and announcing winners
The contest is open for entries received from January 17th, 2008 until February 15th, 2008. The prize winner will be announced
on the website and will be sent a notification email by the end of February. The evaluating criteria and composition of the
judges’ panel is described here. The decision of judges is final.
7. Prizewinner’s acknowledgement
The prizewinner(s) needs to expressly accept the prize. If the promoter has not received the prizewinner’s acceptance by email
in one week after the promoter has sent a notification to the prizewinner by email, the prizewinner loses eligibility to the
prize.
8. Taxes and costs related to prizes
The promoter shall pay for the applicable Finnish lottery tax, if any. The prizewinners will be responsible for paying all
other taxes associated with the winning of the prize. All costs associated with the prizes, including, but not limited to,
operator subscription fees not included in the prize, shall be paid by the prizewinner.
9. Permitted participants
This contest is open to contestants anywhere in the world, except to the employees of promoter and to persons in countries
where this contest and/or participating in it is not allowed or subject to a registration or permit.
10. No procedural communications
The promoter does not commit to any communications in relation to the procedural issues or results of the contest before the
winners are announced as above.
11. Disqualifying entries

entrants may not be notified of any such decision.
12. Limit of liability

accepts no liability for any technical difficulties or circumstances which are not fully in promoter’s control which may affect
the end result of the contest or the entry to the contest or the electronic communication.
13. Interpretation These terms and conditions were written under assumption that they are interpreted in accordance with the Finnish law.
