Forum Nokia Code Camps

The Forum Nokia Code Camps are specially organized for developers around the globe in order to offer stimulating workshops that combine speaker presentations with hands-on coding.

During the camp, you'll be overloaded with how-to tutorials, intensive discussion with our Code Camp leaders and naturally loads of hands-on experience with coding mobile applications yourself.

Register today for a free code camp close to you! Please select your region for dates, times and details.

Resources and learning materials

While preparing yourself for the camp, you can already start familirializing yourself with the technologies at hand, by browsing through the pages below:

Location-based services

Location awareness differentiates mobile applications from traditional PC and wired Internet services. It can be used for navigation and mapping, workforce tracking, finding points of interest, getting weather information and much more. Join the discussions or get started by diving into our LBS documentation section.

Don't forget to check out the Technology in the spotlight page for newest documentation and examples we have gathered just for you.

Web Runtime

If you are interested in developing widgets, we have a special treat for you. Getting Started with Web Runtime Widgets for S60 screencast provides you with an introduction to creating Web widgets for S60 devices. The screencast describes how to download and install the tools required, illustrates some of the features of a Web widget, reviews the content of a Web widget, and provides tips on development and testing.

Flash

Getting started with Flash is easy when there are plenty of quality examples available. Download visual guidelines, UI examples for the S60 platform, and other helpful documentation from our Flash documentation page. Take advantage of our Flash community and get even more information from our Flash technology page.
