Here you will find all the information you need to market and sell your applications and content for Nokia devices. We'll help you understand Nokia's channels, discuss operators and aggregators, and give you contacts you can use to reach them.
Regardless of the channel you pursue, keep in mind that applications that have undergone the Symbian Signed or Java Verified™ Program process are especially attractive to channel decision-makers.
Nokia offers both consumer and enterprise channels for mobile developers.

The channel to reach consumers using Nokia devices worldwide is the publishing to Ovi service. Publishing to Ovi gives third-party application and content developers easy access to Nokia’s unified distribution channel — Ovi Store — and the opportunity to reach millions of consumers around the world.
Ovi Store offers instant revenue opportunities: Developers who use the publishing to Ovi tool will receive a 70 per cent revenue share from their applications and content that are distributed through the Ovi Store. The store offers consumers mobile applications, games, personalisation content, and more. It consolidates into a single channel the best experiences from Nokia’s former content services, including the Nokia Software Market, Download!, MOSH, and WidSets.
Ovi Store is now available to an estimated 50 million users of S60 and Series 40 devices. The store went live in late May 2009 with support for more than 50 Nokia devices, and as of today it supports more than 60 Nokia devices. To date, consumers from more than 130 countries around the world have registered to use Ovi Store.
Key initiatives are in motion to drive the installation of the mobile client to Nokia devices already in consumers’ hands, including auto-detection at http://store.ovi.mobi to inform users of compatible Series 60 devices that a downloadable client for their device is only a click away.
There are thousands of developers who are now publishing their applications and content through Ovi Store, reaching tens of millions of consumers worldwide.
The enterprise channel is the Nokia for Business channel programme.
