Our S60 experience

Wipro is an S60 Competence Center, has been an S60 community member since 2004, and has been executing projects on the S60 platform since its inception. We have successfully executed S60 projects for chipset vendors, platform vendors, OEMs, application vendors, and operators. Over the years, Wipro has successfully executed several projects in areas such as UI customization, multimedia, messaging, SIP, streaming, and SyncML.

The Wipro S60 Competence Center identifies and builds components and solutions that add value to the S60 ecosystem while positioning Wipro at the forefront of technology evolutions in mobility and S60.

We also have an established training program that helps C++ developers evolve into S60 developers. Our project-execution expertise with various top global customers in the S60 space plus our ongoing development of mobile solutions and our training programs enable us to serve our customers with best-of-breed services and solutions.

Our maemo experience

Wipro is experienced in developing complex productivity and multimedia applications for various versions of the maemo platform. Wipro’s mobile device teams has a thorough understanding of the maemo architecture and the necessary coding methodologies. Having productized many applications on Nokia Internet Tablet devices, we can help developers to build or migrate applications on the maemo platform with a shorter time to market and at optimized cost.
