Bachelor’s and master’s degrees in computer engineering from Chulalongkorn University in Thailand

I have been involved in Symbian programming since 2003, when I developed my first Symbian application, ELS (Enhanced Location-Based Services), as an entry for the DTAC & Nokia DOT Awards III, a mobile application competition in Thailand. I won the grand prize.
Since winning that award, I have developed more than 30 Symbian applications. Most of them are freeware. Of all the applications I’ve developed, I am most proud of ZThai, a Thai language system for Symbian 6.1a and Symbian 7.0s. It is currently preloaded in Nokia 7610 phones and Nokia 3230 smartphones in Thailand. Another of my applications, MobiTubia, a YouTube client application, let me win the grand prize for my first global competition, Forum Nokia Open C Challenge. Now more than 300,000 users over the world use MobiTubia, and it has been voted a have-to-have application for Series 60 devices. One of most important things in my life is that, as a result of that competition, I’ve been selected as a Forum Nokia Champion. And this has allowed me to show my innovative ideas and research projects in mobile applications to the public. NeuScreen, a multitouch screen engine for the Nokia N95 mobile imaging device, won second place in the Technology Showcase category of the Forum Nokia Calling All Innovators Challenge.
I focus on novel and innovative software and hardware development. My main programming language is Symbian C++. Currently, I am developing Symbian applications on a freelance basis, and I have my own company, Neuvex. I also lecture on Symbian application development to students in Thailand. I try my best to support and improve the mobile application development skills of developers in Thailand. I always think that it’s good to develop applications, but to improve the skills of other developers is much better.
My motto is: Experience is the best teacher. And I believe in one thing: Just change your view, and the world will change. That is the starting point of innovative thinking.
