Reuben is a lecturer in the Department of Communication Systems at Lancaster University, Lancaster, UK and a member of a group of mobile researchers at Lancaster University, called the Mobile Radicals (www.mobileradicals.com/). His primary areas of interest are in developing mobile applications and systems that have social and/or business benefits and proof-of-concept applications.
Reuben is also currently the Principal of one of Lancaster's nine Colleges, the Chair of Lancaster University Alumni Association,
and an executive director of m-ventions ltd.
Reuben is currently working a number of novel applications: Cross-platform Bluetooth Proximity Games (Mobslinger and Vampires),
commercial java applications (including bluetooth air hockey, msomnia, seal cull, and mash-a-mate), and business productivity
and intelligence applications, including a bluteooth sniffing application which has so-far produced over 100,000 data points
recording mobile activities of over 3,000 devices within Lancaster University.
