Mr. Lauri Aalto
Master of Science
Finland
I have been working on software for almost 20 years now -- first as a hobby, then professionally. Since 1999 there
has been a mobile twist to my work on both the server/network and the terminal sides. The Symbian OS phones I've worked with
range from EPOC R5 (ER5) to S60 3rd Edition. Currently, I am working as a project manager in smartphone projects in an end-to-end
software house. There's little time to write production code nowadays. Most of my time is spent helping our development teams
perform better and create value for our customers. However, I still try to keep a grasp on low-level technical issues. Managing
projects is much easier from the inside when you understand what is going on technically.
